Sydney Tradeshows 2024

Retailers come from all over Australia to find the largest variety of established and emerging brands all under one roof, showcasing the latest trends and products from Home, Gift, Fashion, Kids and Beauty & Wellness. As well as the sales exhibitors will make over the period, it is also a valuabe marketing tool for them to be present at trade events. However, this can be a huge task to navigate without help.

Our main purpose for trade events is to provide support to stallholders in making their planning and bump in and out process as easy for them as possible. We have over 90 pieces in our rental range, as well as 30 floorplan packages that have been especially curated with tradeshow set ups in mind. Our amazing team are here to assist with suggesting market stall co pieces that could work for the clients brand and vision. 

Our bump in and out service allows the exhibitor to pass off some of the logistical load to someone else. We deliver and set up the stand, in the layout they have requested, so on the day they can arrive and not have to think about their floorplan set up and get straight onto merchandising.

A DAY IN THE LIFE: MSC BUMP IN

We are in contact with the event organiser, for all the events that we service, to ensure they are aware that we are bumping in for multiple vendors and need longer access. For Life InStyle we are granted earlier access than the stallholders, allowing us to have the stands in place for their arrival. We therefore headed there first on bump in day, Thursday 15th February.

  • Started by unloading every piece from the truck to the event floor
  • With maps and booking details, we begun taking pieces to the correct stand and location
  • Each team member is then responsible for the assembly of a few stands
  • The units were put in to place according to the layout provided by the client
  • As each stand was complete, a photo was taken and uploaded to our Instagram stories and emailed to the client, so they know that their stand was ready for them to merchandise
  • The managing team member checked each stand against the booking details to ensure there were no missing pieces at each stand
  • The rest of the team then went around to clean down all the pieces

Once complete, we repeated the same process at Reed Gift Fair in the afternoon and then AGHA the following morning.

Popular Market Stall Co Products in Sydney 2024

Each tradeshow season we find that we have a different standout product chosen for hire. Whilst the plinths and pegboards will always be popular, this year in Sydney the Stacked Shelving Unit took precedent with 11 units across the tradeshows.

They are a great shelving option that can be easily set at different heights for variation and at their maxiumum height service ample of product merchandising. They have the option of an enclosed base for storage and they have castor wheels to make them easily moveable for floorplan adjustments.

A layout we got a lot of queries for was four of the White MSC Counters centred back-to-back to create an oversized island. We only had four of these counters going into the Sydney tradeshows, from a custom paint job request we had for Life InStyle Melbourne 2023. We painted more for this summer due to the demand we have received. We have plans to add it into our floorplan offerings, along with an oversized platform plinth, for March 2024!

My Favourite Set Up

Our client Altasphere hired layout 10 from our floorplan packages for hire. We chose to add this layout as one of our 30 options to hire at a discounted rate because it provides a shelving based option that draws attention to all sides of the stand. The great part about our floorplans is that whilst we provide a suggested layout for the client, they can change the configuration to fit their needs. For example in layout 10, our Mini Counter which comes in two seperate pieces, has been made into two plinths to highlight product at the front of the stand. However, Altasphere used it for its originally intended use, as a counter.

We love ply and white finishes together and this set up only further presents why they compliment each other so well. Altasphere put there own white flooring down and used the white walls provided by Reed Gift Fair as their base for their decaled branding. In this instance, the plywood furniture really stands out and allows the product to pop against the full white canvas.
